Information about our professional accounting services, organizational requirements, and client agreements for Canadian businesses
1. General Terms
These Terms of Service govern the legal relationship between LedgerCrestPro and our clients for all professional accounting, business excellence, and accounting services. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Scope: These terms apply to all services provided by LedgerCrestPro, including professional accounting, organizational assessments, executive consultation, business development guidance, and related accounting services. Any deviations from these terms must be agreed upon in writing.
2. Service Scope
LedgerCrestPro provides comprehensive professional accounting services for businesses seeking expert guidance on organizational accounting, business management, and executive excellence matters. Our service range includes:
- Professional Accounting: Expert advice on organizational accounting, business dynamics, and executive strategy
- Organizational Assessments: Business dynamics, Canadian business practices, and industry-specific development reviews
- Executive Consultation Guidance: Accounting frameworks for organizational change, business development, and professional growth
- Business Development Services: Accounting impact assessments, business building agreements, and policy development
- Accounting Strategy: Executive consultation, organizational development, and accounting service contracts
- Organizational Excellence: Canada and international accounting regulations, industry standards, and best practices
The specific scope of services will be determined in individual client agreements. Additional services will be arranged and billed separately.
3. Client Obligations
For proper delivery of our professional accounting services, our clients are required to:
- Complete Professional Information: Provide all relevant company details, organizational infrastructure information, and accounting requirements
- Service Compliance: Adhere to our service policies and professional guidelines
- Accurate Information: All information provided must be correct, complete, and up-to-date
- Cooperation: Active participation in accounting assessments, organizational reviews, and service delivery
- Timely Payment: Settlement of invoices within agreed payment terms
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of our accounting advice and proprietary methodologies
Incomplete or inaccurate information may result in additional accounting assessments that will be charged to the client.
4. Fees and Payment Terms
Professional accounting fees are based on service type and complexity according to individual client agreements.
- Accounting Rates: Standard consultation CAD 350/hour, Organizational assessment CAD 2,500/project, Strategy review CAD 1,800/document
- Additional Services: Expert witness testimony, litigation support, and specialized organizational audits billed separately
- Payment Terms: Invoices due within 30 days of issue
- Late Fees: 1.5% per month on overdue balances
- Additional Costs: Travel expenses, court filings, and third-party expert consultations billed separately
5. Liability and Warranty
LedgerCrestPro provides all professional accounting services with the utmost care and according to recognized principles of Canadian business excellence.
Liability Limitation: Liability is limited to gross negligence and willful misconduct. The amount of liability is limited to three times the annual service fees, but not exceeding CAD 150,000.
Warranty: Defective services will be corrected at no charge if they are due to LedgerCrestPro's fault. Further claims are excluded.
6. Confidentiality and Client Information
LedgerCrestPro commits to strict confidentiality of all client information and professional data:
- Professional Confidentiality: All employees are bound by client confidentiality obligations and confidentiality obligations
- Data Protection: Client information handled according to Canada privacy laws and GDPR
- Data Security: Technical and organizational measures to protect client data
- Record Retention: Client records maintained according to legal requirements (minimum 7 years)
7. Termination and Service Ending
Service relationships may be terminated by either party with proper notice:
- Notice Period: 30 days written notice for ongoing service contracts
- Immediate Termination: Possible for important cause or legal conflicts
- Service Transition: Assistance with service transfer after full payment of all invoices
- Record Retention: Client records retained for 7 years, then destroyed
8. Final Provisions
Applicable Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Canada.
Jurisdiction: Exclusive jurisdiction is Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Amendments: Changes to these terms require written form. If individual provisions become invalid, the remainder of the contract remains valid.
Effective Date: These terms take effect on January 1, 2025, and replace all previous versions.
9. Refund Policy
At LedgerCrestPro, we understand that circumstances may require changes to service arrangements. Our refund policy helps fairness while maintaining the high standards of our professional accounting services:
Accounting Service Refunds:
- Cancellation with 60+ days notice: Full refund of prepaid accounting fees minus a 5% administrative fee
- Cancellation with 30-59 days notice: 90% refund of prepaid accounting fees
- Cancellation with 14-29 days notice: 75% refund of prepaid accounting fees
- Cancellation with 7-13 days notice: 50% refund of prepaid accounting fees
- Cancellation with less than 7 days notice: 25% refund of prepaid accounting fees
Special Circumstances: In cases of documented professional emergencies, organizational conflicts, or other extraordinary circumstances, special consideration may be given for partial or full refunds at management discretion. All refund requests must be submitted in writing with appropriate documentation.
